Follow-Up Mail Efforts

The Follow-Up component allows you the ability to mail a prospective customer additional postcard(s) after n-weeks of they received the previous mailing. The Timelapse is customizable and dictated in weekly increments. There can be multiple follow-up efforts configured. Additionally, you can upload which creatives you would like to use with each effort. Let’s review the steps:

Adding to Existing Campaign

1. Navigate Campaigns section within the Domain page.

2. Add Follow-Up Mail Effort(s) to an existing Campaign by clicking the existing campaign image, then switch the follow-up toggle to on.

3. The first follow-up mail effort loads. Upload your postcard front and back creatives.

4. On the timelapse dropdown, select how many weeks to wait before mailing a prospective customer additional postcard(s) after they were sent the previous mailing.

Example:

Mail Effort 1 has a Timelapse set to = 1 week. This mail effort will be sent 1 week after we mail the user the original effort.

If you were to choose to add another follow-up, Mail Effort 2, and set Timelapse to = 2 weeks, then this mail effort would be sent 2 weeks after we mail the user the first follow-up, Mail Effort 1.

5. Once this is complete, press Update before exiting the campaign page.

NOTE: If you want to mail multiple follow-ups, click + Add follow-up and repeat the above steps.

Adding to New Campaign

1. While logged into the platform, navigate to Campaigns section within the Domain page you wish to create a campaign for.

2. Incorporate Additional Mail Effort(s) to a new Campaign by clicking + Add Campaign in the upper right.

3. Fill out required precursor campaign details, i.e., campaign name, daily limit, monthly limit, etc.

4. Scroll down to follow-up then switch the follow-up toggle to on.

5. The first follow-up mail effort loads. Upload your postcard front and back creatives.

6. On the timelapse dropdown, select how many weeks to wait before mailing a prospective customer additional postcard(s) after they were sent the previous mailing.

Example:

Mail Effort 1 has a Timelapse set to = 1 week. This mail effort will be sent 1 week after we mail the user the original effort.

If you were to choose to add another follow-up, Mail Effort 2, and set Timelapse to = 2 weeks, then this mail effort would be sent 2 weeks after we mail the user the first follow-up, Mail Effort 1.

7. Once this is complete, press Save before exiting the campaign page.

IMPORTANT: You must hit Start Campaign for the campaign to be active.
