Sampling Method
NaviStone offers two Sampling Methods to determine the order visitors are selected within the set Audience Limit: Random or Best Available.
Random is NaviStone's default selection. This option randomly selects visitor scores, whose score meet the threshold of the set Audience Limit. A Random Sampling Method yields scalable campaign performance results. This option should be selected if the goal is to have consistent performance across longer duration campaigns, or when testing a new audience or creative strategy so the results can be evaluated for rollout potential.
Best Available is an alternative selection. This option selects visitors scores from best-to-worst, whose score meet the threshold of the set Audience Limit. A Best Available Sampling Method yields stronger initial results but will introduce diminishing performance as time continues. This is an appropriate selection for campaigns with a limited spend.
Selecting Sampling Method
While logged into the platform, navigate to Campaigns section within the Domain page you wish to create or edit a campaign for.
Under Sampling Method select between Random (default) or Best Available.
NOTE: Using a Random Selection Method has been a proven solution for scalable campaign performance results. In certain cases, using a Best Available Selection might make more sense.
